MR8 has a built-in repository, form manager (which replaces Microsoft
Word for your legal forms), form packaging, and tracking.
The built-in repository allows you to save files at four levels:
case, part (location/custodian/facility), item (record), and invoice.
With
forms packaging, you can print one form at a time or as many as you
need for a particular situation by creating bundles, such as a Notice
pack or a subpoena pack, so you can assemble and print all the forms
you need at once.
Tracking is now integrated into MR8 so as soon as you enter a work
order, the tracking process starts. It has a customizable workflow
with two main models to work from: the case manager model for companies
where cases are assigned to case workers who take care of their assignments
from beginning to end, and the assembly line model for companies
where work is divided by department or done by whoever is available.
Both models are customizable.
A new technology in MR8 is TAPI, a telephone interface
that allows MR8 to dial your phone with the click of a button — a
real time saver for any staffer who spends the day calling hundreds

- Built-in Central Repository – Store
all files related to a case, part, item, invoice or firm for quick
retrieval. It also stores files uploaded by clients via MR Web
8. You can also “publish” repository
files to MR Web, designating who can have access to them, at

- Built-in Word Processor – MR8
includes its own word processor with mail merge, so you don’t
need Microsoft Word to manage forms, letters and
other documents that use MR8 data. The new Form Manager comes
with a complete set of fully editable documents, including
Worksheets.

pre-set groups of forms that speed up the document printing process
because you only have to choose the package to print, not all
of the individual forms.
- Built-in Tracking – Designate
the workflow for each type of tracking item — which steps your

complete those steps. You can even set up the system to notify individual
employees via MR8’s Message Center when a step is completed,
so people are alerted automatically when it’s their turn
to handle a work order or if someone needs to monitor the process
remotely.

time-savers, such as a zip code database, spell checker and auto
alerts, make work more productive.

processing changes in MR8, such as an integrated Case Manager and
